The chickens on Winfield Farm are our pest controll.  They live their lives chasing bugs and providing us with fertilizer for the gardens.  Every morning they are let out of the henhouse to free range.  Each night they return to the henhouse, are counted and re-counted to make sure each one is home safe and sound, and the henhouse is closed up for the night.  They are truly free range, free to roam in search of tasty bugs.

We do not eat eggs, we are not in the business of eggs, they are viewed as a by-product of the chicken and are taken to the market.
